Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a author, performer and actress in America for over forty years. Her most well-known role is because of her portrayal as Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV show Gilligan's Island). The musical Bettle performed in Two's Company was her first stage performance in the 1950s. Thereafter she acted in numerous Broadway productions before making it huge in the national theater space with Li'l Abner' in 1957. The same year, she debuted her debut musical album, It's Tina Time. Louise made her foray into Hollywood as Griselda Walden, a character from God's Small Acre a drama film released 1958.The film received a lot of praise as well as Louise was awarded her Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. In this time, she studied at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her tutor. Her next role that she portrayed in the role of Ginger Grant, which CBS was the first to sign her on with in 1964. Louise continued to juggle her work in between Broadway as well as Hollywood playing more serious roles as contrast to her image as a glamorous girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series as well as Helen Magnus, but in the past few years has gained recognition as a director on several famous TV shows, including Supernatural. Her birthplace was in Essex on August 28th 1965 and her family moved to Toronto at the age of three which is where she spent the rest of her childhood and adolescence. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver, Canada after her selection for the role of lead.
