In 201, she had her debut as an actor in an Australian soap opera titled Home and Away. She played a small role in only two episodes. The performance she gave in that small part was so captivating that the agent who cast the show requested to cast her in the major characters in the show. The actress was able to audition, but not get the role. On the exact same episode Cassie Turner got the role as the troubled teenager in foster-care.
