Moffat claimed that he selected Coleman to be the companion due to her ability to perform best alongside Smith. Additionally, Moffat noted that she was more talkative than Smith. However, she is better known for TV projects than movies. Out of all the characters Eva has appeared in on television shows, Dr. Maria Santos in All My Children and the detective Natalia Boa Vista' in CSI Miami are the two which are the most notable. The latter brought her two nominations for a Daytime Emmy. Additionally, she was able to showcase her creativity via music. Eva is also an entrepreneur, philanthropist and philanthropist.
