Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco, an American-Canadian singer and songwriter. Her work has been featured on more than 20 studio albums. DiFranco's music is classified as alternative rock, folk rock, but it also has hints of hip-hop and jazz. Ani DiFranco was the very first artist to launch her own record company in 1990. Ani is widely considered as one of the feminist icons. DiFranco is the daughter of Elizabeth (Ross), and Dante Americo DiFranco.
