Lisa Olivia Munn was conceived in Oklahoma City. The mother of her child, Kimberly Schmid, lived in Vietnam, and is of Chinese heritage, while her dad, Winston Barrett Munn, is from a family with deep roots in the American South. Her parents divorced when she was the age of two. She grew up with her mother who was as a pilot in the United States Air Force, and her stepfather. Olivia was primarily raised within Tokyo within Japan. Even though her family was relocated from Oklahoma to various other locations, it was the city of Tokyo which she completed most of her schooling. During that time she was involved in many shows in the area and eventually became an Japanese Fashion model. Olivia was a model who relocated with her family to Los Angeles in order to fulfil her dream to be an actor was determined to pursue that goal even after her family returned to America. In the end, she was able to land a couple of tiny roles on television shows that featured Hawaii lense (such like Beyond the Break), she was able to land the role of Mily Acuna, and was offered the job of Rob Schneider's receptionist on Big Stan. She hosts "The Daily Nut", "Formula D", and "The Formula D Podcasts" on G4. Her love of surfing has been evident following the television program Beyond the Break. Also, she is a black belt in taekwondo. She was only two when her mom got married once more, but this time with the same US Air Force member. She was raised primarily in Tokyo, Japan where her stepfather was a member. She studied journalism in the University of Oklahoma and also majored in Japanese, dramatic arts and drama.
