Dennings was in a relationship with Nick Zano from 2011-2014, her co-star in "2 Broke Girls". When their romance ended, she began dating Josh Groban. In 2016, they were still in love. Dennings first began to date musician Andrew W.K. in 2021. Soon, the couple began being romantically involved. They announced their engagement to each other in the month of May 2021. Dennings, a musician fan since 2014, was Dennings's first-love. Dennings has admitted that, even though she is Jewish and grew to be part within the Jewish community at a social as well as a religious level, it is not a major part in her everyday day life.
